Departing from Honokohau Marina located 3 miles north of Kailua-Kona, your captain will entertain you with Hawaiian folklore and Kona history as you travel along the scenic Kona coast. Keep a lookout for Hawaii spinner dolphins, green sea turtles, manta rays, humpback whales (during the winter months) and other marine life that are often encountered on the expedition.

Explore lava tubes and sea caves as you travel the inaccessable shores and get the feeling of traveling back in time on this remote coastline. The sights we visited amazing... the crew is very well-versed in what they are presenting not to mention their humour adds up to the fun and excitement. Kudos to Carl who is exceptionally accomodating to our "mature passengers" and who is also amazingly nuts (I dig his punchlines) and Sarah - simply informative... made me remember the safety 101 of snorkling especially to someone who hasn't done it for awhile... deep waters would give you the chills but both of them made it feel like it was a children's playground. Great Adventure combined with Amazing Staff will surely be an Excellent Experience!!! Kudos Everyone!!! - I'll be back!!!

October 15, 2007 - This tour was, by far, the best excursion we went on during our week in Hawaii. The snorkel site was amazing and I cannot imagine any area that would be better. Captain Colin and First-mate Laura made our day by cruising past whales, dolphins and a hammerhead shark! Their knowledge of the waters and local history was just amazing. Chad was full of information and was fun and not corny like most guides on the excursions. Had I more cash on me, I would have left a larger tip.
