Directions from Kona Airport (North): After picking up your rental car or leaving your hotel near the airport, head south on Highway 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Highway) for about 6 miles until you reach the third traffic light, where you’ll see signs for Honokohau Harbor. Turn left toward the ocean onto Kealakehe Parkway and drive straight for about half a mile, passing the Harbor Department building on your right, until you reach our location at 74-425 Kealakehe Parkway within the harbor complex – the entire drive takes about 10-15 minutes and you’ll know you’re in the right place when you see the marina filled with fishing and tour boats.
Directions from Kailua-Kona Town/Hotels (South): From downtown Kailua-Kona or your resort, head north on Highway 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Highway) toward the airport for about 3 miles until you see the Honokohau Harbor signs at Kealakehe Parkway. Turn right toward the ocean and continue straight on Kealakehe Parkway for approximately half a mile, driving past the Harbor Department building on your right side, until you arrive at 74-425 Kealakehe Parkway where Captain Zodiac is located alongside other marine tour operators – this scenic 8-10 minute drive will bring you directly to Hawaii’s premier sportfishing and snorkeling departure point, where you can park in the designated harbor area and begin your unforgettable Big Island ocean adventure.
